About the Role
As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will report to the Associate Director – Sourcing & Execution and collaborate with teams and leadership across APAC. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the seamless execution of sourcing strategies and contract awards. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence procurement efficiency and contribute to the company’s rapid expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement activities for capital expenditure (CAPEX) categories across Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
- Lead and manage tenders from supplier onboarding through to RFx execution, pre-tender briefings, evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.
- Drive cost efficiencies through strategic bidding, negotiations, and procurement initiatives.
- Develop and implement performance metrics, including tracking tendering status, spend analysis, and cost savings forecasts.
- Identify and onboard reliable vendors to strengthen supply chain resilience in new and existing markets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish and execute procurement plans aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with Category Managers to enhance procurement tools, processes, and automation strategies.
- Identify procurement best practices and introduce process improvements to optimize service delivery and stakeholder collaboration.
- Promote sustainable procurement practices in line with the company’s ESG policies.
- Ensure compliance with supplier qualification processes and company-wide procurement standards.
- Partner with Supply Chain teams to optimize logistics and materials management systems.
- Support Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives by developing supplier performance KPIs and participating in business reviews.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Contract/Cost Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in procurement, contract negotiation, and bidding, with at least 5+ years in CAPEX procurement, preferably within the data centre industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across technical and commercial functions while delivering complex projects within budget and timeline constraints.
- Strong expertise in category strategy development, pricing models, and procurement execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel as required.
