ABOUT THE ROLE
- The Senior Project Manager will lead a team to manage the day-to-day activities of the programme of projects, and be the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and/or the Client

- Be comfortable liaising and communicating with senior management of company and the Client Team
- Must be able to work in a fast-track environment with a proven record of delivery within a similar role Strong project management experience (PMI / PMP qualification preferred)
- Strong understanding of engineering design and operational aspects of mission critical facilities and infrastructure systems
- Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English
WHAT THIS JOB INVOLVES
- Be responsible for ensuring The Client’s EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) requirements are being adhered to for all construction projects with the Program’s Remit.
- Accountable to deliver projects within the agreed parameters i.e., cost, time and quality Ensure all projects are managed within The Client governance guidelines
- Conduct regular management and site meetings in relation to construction-related projects for the data center
- Coordinate with the PMs to align priorities and site management for fit-out, installation and construction specific tasks and milestones
- Coordinate and with company’s Local Senior Management to drive successful outcomes for the project team and Managed Services provided to the Client.
- Work with internal stakeholders such as network deployment, data center engineering, data center hardware operations, DC operations, supply chain and logistics, to ensure the approval of technical specifications, material and equipment orders, deployment plans are in place and implemented in a timely manner
- Track and report on key milestones for the construction-related project plan
- Maintain a country supply chain framework for new project deployment and ongoing technology refresh and upgrade work
- Support contract negotiation, typically together with The Client PM and legal counsel, including establishment of all contractor “business terms”, mark-ups, fees, insurance, labor rates, escalation, etc
- Coordinate Design Team activities supporting The Client PM when required
- Ensure AE is compiling the complete list of City, County and/or other Authority approvals process, permitting, etc
- Coordinate constructability review of the project documents with stakeholders when required Coordinate Value Engineering effort when required with all key stakeholders
- Assist The Client in identifying, scoping, buying-out and scheduling of all The Client-direct vendors and consultants if assigned
- Work with project teams addressing and resolving any material issues
- Work with project teams addressing and resolving any design issues/changes to design drawings and provide input to any required changes in design and scope prior to start of construction
- Facilitate and ensure tracking of all key project documents, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, invoices and payments, lien releases, etc.,are being reviewed, approved and closed with all appropriate The Client stakeholders, AE and General Contractor personnel
- Lead the coordination and management of all The Client-direct vendors, and any associated consultants that provide services to The Client, and escalate to The Client PM when there is non-compliant behaviors.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 10 years’ experience leading and delivering medium to large construction projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Civils, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent preferred
