Position Summary
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of data centre development projects in Malaysia. This role is responsible for managing project planning, construction execution, cost control, and quality assurance in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. The ideal candidate will coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee full project lifecycle management from initiation through handover
Lead cross-functional teams including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, risk registers, and reporting
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure milestones and deliverables are met
Ensure all project works comply with health, safety, regulatory, and quality requirements
Monitor cost performance and support commercial reviews, procurement, and change management
Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership and global stakeholders
Support project close-out, testing, commissioning, and documentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project management, preferably in data centre or mission-critical infrastructure
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with tight schedules
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, safety standards, and regulatory approvals
Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
PMP or equivalent project management certification
Experience in fast-track delivery, design-build, or EPCM environments
Familiarity with commissioning processes and technical systems for data centres
Competence in digital project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project, or BIM platforms
