Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager will own the end-to-end delivery of major infrastructure and building projects in the Philippines. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will lead planning, execution and close-out activities, manage cross-functional teams and ensure that projects meet schedule, budget, quality and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project lifecycle from initiation through hand-over, including scope definition, resource planning, scheduling and cost control
Develop and maintain detailed project plans; monitor progress, identify deviations and implement corrective actions
Manage relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and regulatory bodies to secure approvals and resolve issues
Oversee procurement: prepare RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, negotiate contracts and administer variations
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard project objectives
Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations and health & safety standards
Produce regular status reports and present project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
Mentor and develop project team members, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
Minimum 8 years’ experience managing medium- to large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards
Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent project management credential
Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements, permitting processes and industry best practices
Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6)
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering or Business Administration
Experience overseeing MEP, civil/structural or architectural scopes
Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and international design standards
Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with government agencies and community stakeholders
