Position Summary
The MEP Project Manager will lead the planning, execution and delivery of MEP works on major building projects. You will manage project scope, schedule and budget; coordinate multi-disciplinary teams; oversee procurement and construction activities; and ensure compliance with local regulations and quality standards from project kickoff through handover.
Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, develop detailed MEP schedules and establish cost estimates and budgets
Manage project execution plans, monitor progress and implement corrective actions to meet time, cost and quality targets
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and contractors to align on technical requirements and resolve design or construction issues
Oversee procurement of MEP equipment and materials: prepare RFQs, evaluate bids and negotiate contracts
Supervise onsite installation and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to health & safety, building codes and project specifications
Administer change management: review and approve variation orders, track impacts on budget and schedule
Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits and risk assessments, and report status to senior management
Lead project close-out: compile as-built documentation, handover manuals and ensure client sign-off
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an MEP Project Manager on medium- to large-scale construction projects
Proficiency with MEP design tools (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and project-management software (MS Project, Primavera P6)
Strong knowledge of Vietnamese building codes, safety regulations and international MEP standards
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent communication skills in English and Vietnamese
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering or related field
Experience on data-centre, pharmaceutical or high-performance facility projects
Familiarity with sustainable design frameworks (LEED, EDGE)
Track record of delivering projects under accelerated or modular construction delivery models
