They are looking for a Cost Manager (Associate Director level) to join their Malaysia/Singapore team.
You’ll work across a variety of sectors — including advance manufacturing and R&D facilities, Pharmaceuticals and life Science, Infrastructure, Corporate Real Estate and data centres — delivering high-quality cost management services on major national and international projects.
You will collaborate with client’s teams across Australia, Asia, and the Middle East, gaining exposure to exciting, complex projects while expanding your technical and professional skills.
Responsibilities:
- • Deliver high-quality cost management and quantity surveying services across diverse projects.
• Support the development of feasibility studies, cost estimates, and cost plans.
• Undertake detailed financial analysis, cost modelling, and reporting.
• Perform quantity take-offs using digital measurement tools such as CostX.
• Assist in procurement strategy, tender evaluations, and contract management.
• Prepare clear and accurate cost reports and client presentations.
• Contribute to internal initiatives, team collaboration, and innovation efforts.
• Develop Cost Management frameworks as part of broader Integrated Project Controls initiative
• Lead a team of Senior Consultant, Consultant, or contractors
• Lead delivery of Cost services for client, and manage all aspect of the engagements
Requirements:
- • A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• >5 years’ post-graduate experience in quantity surveying or cost management roles.
• Experience with Data Centers, Corporate Real Estate, Infrastructure and Industrial projects preferred.
• Progress towards or attainment of QS professional membership (desirable but not essential).
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency in tools such as CostX, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a collaborative environment.
