Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share in the colocation sector.
- Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and engineering, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of client solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the colocation and data centre industry.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role within the colocation or data centre industry.
- Extensive knowledge of the colocation market, including key players, trends, and technologies.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading high-performing sales teams.
- Superior communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales management tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
