The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Senior Engineer, specializing in Planning & Scheduling, to join their team in the Singapore office. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of project planning and scheduling, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that all programming matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Compile all necessary information for tenders, monthly reports, and presentations for both internal purposes and clients.
- Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors and relevant authorities on planning and programming matters related to project interfaces.
- Work closely with Construction Managers and site teams to identify and resolve interface issues promptly.
- Prepare detailed project schedules and other necessary information to substantiate claims for the commercial department.
- Submit optimized tender programs that meet client requirements and provide workable, cost-effective Baseline / Master Programs.
- Develop and control Project Work Schedules for building works, M&E, and Process Systems from concept design to construction/installation and testing & commissioning.
- Create and manage WBS, Resource Loading, and S-Curves for accurate project tracking.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Construction.
- 5-7 years in a planning and scheduling role within the construction industry.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Data Centres, or Semi-Conductor projects.
- Experience working with multinational clients.
- Proven experience in collaborating with project managers in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction planning for industrial building facilities.
