About the Role:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of an aviation manufacturing project in Kuala Lumpur. This role requires strong leadership, project delivery skills, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee all phases of the aviation manufacturing project, from inception to handover.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Collaborate with internal design, engineering, and construction teams, as well as external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and opportunities to maintain quality, cost, and time objectives.
- Lead project meetings, providing clear updates and solutions to challenges.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
- Implement and promote health, safety, and quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project documentation, contracts, and change orders effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8–12 years of project management experience within construction or engineering industries.
- Proven experience managing aviation or manufacturing projects will be highly advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement, and risk management processes.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment is a plus.
