Project Type: Industrial Manufacturing Project.
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans and procedures in alignment with company policies and local regulations.
- Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, implement corrective actions, and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Provide HSE training and awareness programs to employees at all levels.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate HSE risks.
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reporting.
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies on HSE matters.
- Promote a strong safety culture within the project team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management within the industrial manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in implementing and managing HSE systems.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
