Our client is a global design, engineering, and construction firm renowned for delivering integrated solutions across various industries, including manufacturing, food & beverage, healthcare, and consumer products. With a focus on turnkey project delivery, they provide comprehensive services from conceptual design to construction and commissioning. As part of their growth in the Southeast Asia region, they are seeking a highly experienced HSE Director to oversee health, safety, and environmental operations for their projects in the Philippines.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of HSE across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring safety goals and requirements are met.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and construction teams to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive safety management across the organization.
  • Ensure timely and effective incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE regulations and ensure company compliance.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of HSE leadership experience, preferably in the construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing HSE programs in large-scale, complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of local Philippine safety regulations and international standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to be based in the Philippines and travel across project sites as required.
