Job Title: Construction Manager

Location: Malacca, Malaysia

Project Type: Semi Conductor

Salary: MYR 180,000 – 240,000 per annum

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all construction activities on the project site, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and develop solutions to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure that all project requirements are met.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of the project team, including engineers, architects, and other technical personnel.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules and budgets, and ensure that they are adhered to throughout the project.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure that all work is being carried out in accordance with the project plan and specifications.
  • Coordinate with other project teams to ensure that construction activities are properly integrated with other project activities.
  • Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction phase of the project.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and management.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on Semi Conductor projects or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience working on semiconductor projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of construction management software and tools, including scheduling, budgeting, and project management software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
